La Beò de Blins is an alpine festival held every three years in the villages Celle, Chiazale and Prafouchier (1480 m) located in Val Varaita in northwest Italy under Monte Viso next to the French boarder. Many believe the origins of the festival date back to the end of Saracen occupation around 1100. The photographs were taken in February 2009.
